The four Studio Series toys have also been found at US Retail, also at Target, looking more like Target exclusives.

The Buzzworthy Bumblebee toys are all showing up at Target stores in the US now, including two more - Cyberverse Spark Armor packs.
One looks to be a straight re-release of Megatron (with helicopter), while the other one has Bumblebee packed with the garbage truck that was originally released with Grimlock, and is a different colour.
    They were US$25 each.

Still no word if they will show up here... but would there be any collector demand for this line here?
Aside from the new 2-pack that is, as this line appears to be aimed at the Retailers and general customers, so would have been better if it was released before Christmas (as I expect a heap of Bumblebee themed toys will shelf-warm if there isn't a reason for regular customers to grab random Branded gifts).

Pics to go with that link, which I copied from here.

It looks very small, but I'm glad we are finally getting an official toy version of something seen in the very first minutes of the Transformers cartoon in 1984.
I'm not sure yet if we are getting this one here at this stage.

Not a perfect toy, but I guess the main attraction is the alt mode. I’ll get one. We really should have got saucer Bee in Siege, same for Wheeljack. Quite unlikely but I hope we see him too at some point.

The Origin Bumblebee has now been found at US Retail, at Target... which is shown to be the same size as the Netflix Bumblebee (which itself was that smaller size Deluxe from the Cliffjumper mould).
No price mentioned yet, but hopefully not more than a Deluxe toy.

I think the interesting thing comparing the Netflix Bumblebee to the Buzzworthy 4 pack is how the 4 pack feels more vibrant and full of character.

Part of this is the need for the Volkswagen roof as the chest, which makes him look stumpy and more rounded. The other factor is the colour with the brighter yellow better reflecting the cheeriness of the character and the vibrancy of the cartoon.

This was the same back and forth during the original Masterpiece, and seeing the two together shows that the hope of getting a VW Bumblebee will always be compromised in some way.

Looking good. And no stupid junk like the most recent Buzzworthy Bumblebee. Really rather ticked I missed the one-day-window to order from TFH

I take back the bit about no junk. I forgot about the energon rods, and it turns out that the toy can't hold them. In fact no toy with 5mm hand-holes will be able to hold them, because they are capped at each end with something thicker than that, and the caps can't be removed.

That's just daft. Can't imagine what Hasbro were thinking there; stupidest Transformers decision I've seen all year, and that includes the bizarre 4-pack with Fangry.

The second wave of Studio Series "repacks" in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee packaging are 2-packs this time.... and they are supposed to be at Target here like the first wave was.

There looks to be three 2-packs in this wave, and they have just been found at the same time in Asia and America (at US Target for us$42 each), so could be just weeks away from being released here as well.

    Mv1 - SS-27 Clunker (60s) Bumblebee & SS-28 Barricade
    Mv4 - SS-79 High Octane Bumblebee (re-release AOE DLX toy) & SS-02 Stinger
    Mv6 - SS-18 (VW) Bumblebee & SS-46 (car) Dropkick

(There are four packs to a carton, so there could be a fourth 2-pack... although, one photo suggests there could be 2 of the 2007 packs per carton - we might have to wait a few days to see for sure.)

That should mean the real SS-79 toy is indeed going to be the 2014 AOE Deluxe toy, which could look a little different in design to the rest of the Studio Series display.
