Looks good and will be getting it but I'd wish they'd finish off the rest of the Decepticons from the first movie. There's only three left before we get the whole cast (Blackout, Brawl and Bonecrusher) and then it's fair game since ROTF onwards had lots of characters introduced it's not feasible to do them all. Although we've gotten Studio Series molds so it's not that bad.

Unfortunately, at this stage it doesn't look like it will be released in Australia by Hasbro (they didn't release the last two Movie Masterpiece toys here, and the two before that didn't appear to do too well either).

I imagine it'll show up on Amazon via US or UK like past MPMs so there shouldn't be too much problem getting it.

He looks pretty cool, but I can't get Bumblebee Movie Optimus without also getting Bumblebee...and MPM-07 just doesn't cut the mustard for me. I really hope they re-do Bumblebee down the track but that's a pipe dream.

An official stop-motion video by Hasbro for MPM10 Optimus has shown up on youtube, but not on an official channel, so I'm not sure if they worked on the advertisement, or if they obtained it without permission.
It is really nicely done, showing a stylised version of the transformation, as well as a combat scene with other Studio Series and Masterpiece toys... featuring the voice of Peter Cullen (or a really good imitation).

I still think that this is NOT being released domestically in Australia, due to the poor performance of previous Movie Masterpiece toys here.
More official images have surfaced, noting that it will be released by Hasbro in August, and by TakaraTomy in October.
