Does anyone remember the "Transformers Experience" that was announced to be starting up in early 2016, by the Singapore company Cityneon / VictoryHill, for Las Vegas?
Well, this is it.... 6 years later. (which means covid had nothing to do with the delay)

It was originally announced in November 2015 for an opening in April in Las Vegas, and then pushed back to late 2016 because they wanted to do the Avengers Experience first (probably thought it was better to cash in on the franchise that was doing better at that time, and it was going to be another year and a bit until the next Transformers movie was due out anyway).
Then in December 2017 they finally did their first Transformers exhibit in China, which sounds like it was what they were planning to do in Las Vegas (there is a promo video of it on youtube for those wanting to know what the American one should look like).

So this one for 2022 is obviously for America, but I don't know yet when or where, but now that it has been officially announced, but I would imagine that there would be some promotional material released soon by CityNeon. (if it is around for a year or so and still for Las Vegas, it would be an incentive to travel back to America again next year, and stop off at the Transformers Ride at Universal Studios again on the way)
The interesting thing is that their initial global license that they announced in 2015 for Transformers was apparently only for 8 years until June 2023, but with the long delay in getting it to America, I would imagine that they would have renewed/extended it, as it wouldn't give them much time left for this American run... and if they were still planning to ship it around the world for other countries.

Meanwhile, over on Hasbro's facebook page, we have the new official images for Legacy wave one, and official images for their two event exclusives - Galvatron & Unicron Companion Pack, and the Ravage 2-pack. Both were expected to be released here in Australia (Galvatron at Amazon, Ravage at EBGames), but neither of them are currently showing as available... so we might have to wait until Monday to see if we are still getting them here. I will ask if they are still coming here, and that the listings should be activated now.

Update from Hasbro Pulse - the release dates for wave 1 is a lot later than I was expecting.
In recent years the Generations series were January to December, but these ones have release dates of May (Voyager) and July (Deluxe & Leader).

I wonder if the series was pushed back 6 months due to the factories and transportation (ships) is significantly behind schedule because of covid. The two main lines (Studio Series and Generations) have had some delays around the middle of this year but was catching up a bit (wave 4 of Kingdom is still looking to be delayed, with two of the Deluxe toys pushed back).... but since we've seen Cyberverse and Rescue Bots toys significantly delayed, and wave 6 of BotBots never got released, maybe they are pushing back the start of Legacy to help them catch up again.

I would also imagine that there will be at least one more Voyager and Leader toy for wave 1, as it doesn't feel right to just have a single item for a launch of a new line. And we didn't see any of the Core Class as well... so the reveal today by Hasbro is really only some of wave 1, not all of it.

All those Legacy toys look just fine to me (in fact that Drag Strip looks a little better than I expected). I won't be buying Laser Prime (because I have two Primes already, and this isn't my Prime), and I might not be buying this Arcee (similar reasons), but they all look just fine to me.

I have been looking forward to Skids and Kickback for some time, and will grab them as soon as possible. Have been curious about Bulkhead since the leaks came through, and it turns out that he'll be going on the shelf too.

Amazing to see so many people losing their minds over this stuff. I really don't understand fans and fandom.

-edit- I have to stop looking at that Arcee; each time I look it becomes more tempting.

And that veining on Kickback's wings is awesome. I never expected that, it looks amazing. I cannot see Hasbro bettering this toy. Wow indeed.

Did they say when Galvatron and Ravage are going on sale?

The leak from a few weeks ago had Blaster being the other voyager, and only one leader. And the art shown over on TFW2005 for the reveal does feature Blaster - cartoon head, not toy. In fact all three core class toys from the first wave (according to that leak) are on the art as well - Hot Rod, Iguanus, and Skywarp. The only character on the art not listed as getting a toy in the first wave is Megatron.

The thing I'm curious about is the line name. The three-year toyline was called War For Cybertron, and each year had their own names, Siege, Earthrise, and Kingdom. The rumour was that this new multi-year toyline is called Legacy, with the first year called Evolution. But I've seen nothing recently about the name Evolution, and it isn't on those boxes.

I also see the return of "more than meets the eye" to the packaging, which has not been seen in recent years (unless I've just been completely oblivious to it ).

Supposedly Kingdom Galvatron is the leader case mate to OP, which isn't surprising as we've seen previous releases released over separate lines

Looks like Commander Motormaster is going to be basically the whole combiner, with the deluxe stunticons sitting pretty much just on top like the cartoon. If it means a more stable combined mode, I’m here for it. CW Menasor is the only combiner that really needs a replacement tbh, so I’d be fine if they just did him.
    Seeking the Following:
    - CW Brawl
    - Earthrise Runabout
    - Earthrise Thrust

The more I think about the Legacy series boxes, the more I hate them. A box with all right angles is much better when stacking a shelf. Also, any wasted space in the shipping box is just that, wasted space. You are paying to transport air at that point.
