It looks like the numbering of releases has dropped off too. Can't see it on the packaging images, not on the solicits. Maybe it's on the tech specs webpage? Or maybe it's gone?

It's been nice having those numbers over Studio Series and WFC, I'll miss 'em.

I'd prefer that the collector-focussed toys have the protective window, to not only look more presentable for those who keep the toys sealed or keep the packaging, but also to prevent young kids from fiddling with everything they see on the shelves, or removing anything that doesn't take much force to remove (which is not just done by young kids). The toys that are not specifically targeting collectors (like Rescue bots and Cyberverse) can be in cheaper looking packaging, as it is more likely to be thrown away.

The numbers do make it easier for the Studio Series (especially when there are 50 different Bumblebees), but for Generations I've never really used them or found them necessary.
And it is REALLY annoying when they cancel something, and you have a number that doesn't get used and they never tell you what was meant to be released.

The Galvatron/Unicron pack that was released in some countries in the last two weeks, is still a Hasbro PulseCon exclusive in America, and is still listed for release in March in America, which is a bit strange, as Hasbro Pulse exclusives are usually released first there, not last.

In-hand images of Skids, from one of the usual sources for leaked toys.

He's now got a review of Dragstrip.

My interest in this figure went straight to zero when I saw it split in half for combiner mode. It might be cartoon accurate, but 'Motormaster wears his friends as shoulder pads/gauntlets/shinpads' combiner design isn't worth paying ~$300 for a set to me.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.

On the other hand, I'll be doing exactly that (or rather, I expect to pay closer to something like $240 - $30-odd for 4 deluxes, and around $120 for the commander) to have a set of modern Stunticons from Hasbro, and I'll be happy about it, within 12 months of spending just shy of $350 for the same characters from Magic Square Toys (my perfect what I always wanted as a kid collection).

I guess they had to go one way or the other (toy vs toon) and toon won which is hardly surprising these days. As long as Menasor is overall better than the CW version I'll be happy.
Mostly keen on seeing the commander class Motormaster though.
Looking to buy lucky draw Armada Prime and Diaclone Marlboor Wheeljack.

Oddly this is what I am quite looking forward to for some reason.

Also, one could argue that Motormaster and the Stunticons aren't friends. Their toys bio essentially lists them all as having some sort of mental problem an Motormaster uses that to keep them in place an feed his ego. Coz he's a bully. thats a joke BTW

I wonder if the others (or at least Dead End) will split in half and have the same connectors

If they do then you could mix and match pants.
