Default Rise of the Beasts toys, leaks and listings

Early info is being found on wholesaler sites for the 7th Movie toys... specifically the gimmick toys for the younger fans.
With the movie delayed a whole year to June 2023, it is strange that these are still being listed for release in April 2022. The toys would have already been in various stages of pre-production (moulds would have been built and tested by the time it was announced that the movie had been pushed back a year, and Hasbro would have already booked in production days at the factories, that they may not be able to cancel), so I wonder if we will still end up seeing some released in 2022 so that Hasbro doesn't have to sit on the stock for a year, costing them a lot of money storing them somewhere.

Another online store has Rise of the Beast toys listed for release on April this year... despite the move being pushed back a year to mid 2023.

If the new movie toys are indeed coming out in April, it definitely means that they were in full production before the decision was made to delay the release of the movie... and it would just cost too much to sit on the toys for a whole year.
We've seen it before, and unfortunately it hurts the toyline and Brand as a whole. The toys don't have the "advertising" of the movie, so they don't sell well enough for retailers to order more (if there are later waves), and a larger Brand like Transformers would then be weighed down by dead stock that retailers have to discount (lose money) just to get rid of them.

In 2020 we had Top Gun and Halo products to go with the Top Gun movie and Halo Infinite game that were meant to be released that year. Top Gun stuff just sat on the shelves, but the Halo toys and clothing moved. I'm not sure if Rise of the Beast will be another Halo and sell regardless or another Top Gun and shelf warm.
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.

Having had Beast Wars Transformers toys on shelves for the last year, and the Transformers brand overall, will probably help the toys sell regardless of the movie delay - compared to say Top Gun which was/is a movie from the 80s with no momentum as a toyline.

If the shelves are full of gimmick movie toys though...

More evidence that the Mv7 toyline is coming out in April (and not held back for the release of the movie) is a listing found on Amazon America for a "Battle Master Rhinox" for release on or around April 15th (the release dates on Amazon pages are not always reliable or accurate).

The product number listed (F4600) seems about right for products scheduled for this year.

Quite a few leaks and listings have shown up in the last week while I was away...

A leaked sample of what would be Scourge. Unknown if it is a Studio Series toy.

A possible auto-transforming toy, from an unknown source....
The price looks like it will be about what Titan Class Generations toys are priced at.

We have received info on a brand new animatronic toy in the works for the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts toy line.
Under the Hasbro code F3937, the toy is said to be priced at US$ 120+.
The toy is rumored to come with an auto-transforming feature akin to Robosen Optimus Prime.
The info we received indicates that the toy is half in size and half in weight when compared with the more expensive Robosen toy.
More movie toys from an unknown source... including one potential spoiler if the product name is accurate...

It looks like Leader Scourge from the ROTB movie should be officially revealed in a few hours time, as the official images and product info has apparently just been sent out by Hasbro...

I am also expecting this to be up on Amazon Australia tomorrow after the reveal.
It is numbered as SS-101, which means we are still waiting on an official reveal of what is (or would have been) SS-94.

Speaking of Movie toys, someone on TFW posted up photos of some shelf-tags of some Movie toys that aren't part of Studio Series.
(just be aware that we have sometimes seen a Kmart store in the past, put up shelf tags some months too early, just because someone had printed up ones that were already in the system ready for when stock eventually arrives)

I really really like the look of that Scourge, and given that it has play integration with Core Class Freezer I'm likely to grab both.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.
