Big W sent me an email today saying the retro G1 preorder release date has been delayed by up to 2 more weeks.

I got the email too, saying it will be shipped before April 19.

I ordered the G1 Thundercracker stickers from Toyhax yesterday. So no rush for Thundercracker, plus still getting a bunch of other Legacy figures anyways.

My Hound and Thundercracker have dispatched from Hoxton Park, NSW.

Got Thundercracker and Hound from Big W today. They weren’t well packaged but boxes were pretty much flawless. I bought Starscream and Hot Rod from Robot Kingdom a few months ago and they were better packaged but boxes were worse. Make of that what you will.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, the packaging by Hasbro is pure garbage. The outer package feels like thin cardboard, the figures are tied down to a cheap cardboard box, and the accessories come wrapped in fish and chips paper.

The figures though are what I’ve always wanted, G1 with anime accurate colours and no stickers. In alt mode they look like mini masterpieces. Absolutely love them I don’t know why they didn’t think of doing this sooner.

Keep them coming Hasbro.

I got the email too, which was weird, because just a few days earlier they were saying it would be delayed a couple weeks, but then managed to send it out only a day late (it was originally listed for April 5th).
