JBHifi is now JBee for June for Transformers
I'm not sure if this is just for the one store in Melbourne that had this special evening event on Thursday night, or if all stores will be changing their branding to JBee for June... but here is what I know.
On Thursday night, the Chadstone store in Melbourne had a night time event that looks to have had invited Transformers fans (I wasn't asked to invite anyone to it, so this may have been through some other promotion or contact by Hasbro). They had an official reveal of the store's new Branding of "JBee" to homage Bumblebee and the ROTB movie coming out in June.

The Branding is only temporary, for the month of June, and there are Transformers themed decorations at that store. (I don't know yet if all JBHifi stores are doing this temporary rebranding, as I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, and I haven't been to a store during June yet.)
The Thursday night event had prizes for the attendees, which appear to include some very expensive toys.
There was also said to be posters and lanyards, and if anyone here was at the event, maybe you can fill in more details that I have missed.
This month's JBHifi magazine/catalogue is Transformers themed, so if you are near any other store, you should still be able to get yourself a souvenir of this promotion, as this article suggests that it includes a double-sided poster...

The JBHifi website didn't appear to have anything mentioning the Thursday night event, or the temporary re-Branding of any of their stores, but does note their magazine this month featuring Transformers, and a youtube promo video of some of their newest Movie toys...

Belmont Home today had an island with the yellow JBEE tape wrapped around it and some TF toys on it, so looks like a national TF promotion. They ought to do a TF sale. I tried to get a hard copy of the Stack magazine but they hadn't received the June one yet.

This 'JBee' thing is cute, but it would be really cool is if they did a sale of re-issued audio-visual themed Transformers, from micro-cassettes to Real Gear.
In general, I like that JB are now a pop-culture collectibles store, as it's another option for toys. First time I saw it, I was quite surprised, but it makes perfect sense, given what is depicted on so many of their game and movie discs. Besides, they've pivoted so many times now, I should expect the unexpected.

Just a warning for anyone thinking of getting the Transformers themed issue of their Stack magazine... the store nearest me had already run out.... so be quick if you want a copy.
