    Default An Important Moral Question

    POKEMON!
    Betcha didn't see that coming.

Right. My friends and I got stuck during an interesting discussion. We were wondering about Pokemon as food. Obvious if they were real then we'd probably eat them.
Tauros here would make a good steak.
And obviously a lot of the fish pokemon would be great battered and deep fried with some chips
We got stuck with the Grass Pokemon though. Some are basically just plants that have arms and legs, so we figured a salad would be fine right? The vegetarians would be able to eat with us..right?
    This would be the problem.

Are they considered meat or vegetables?
    What do you guys reckon?

i reckon Sudowoodo could be used as a cooking veggie, since he is a freakin tree!!! you could use his leaves like curry leaves

As for bulbasaur and Chickorita, well, i guess there like amobeabas or watever the half vegeatable half animal micro creatures are.

What about Dark and normal type pokemons? i bet porygon is like Turkey-bland no flavour and sorta fake

Id love to roast Ashs pikachu!!! annoying brat!

Though Reds pikachu was heaps cool!!!

man, i hope any potential girlfriends dont ever find out im Roller

In the game I think people drink Milk produced from Miltank so maybe there is a dark side to the Pokemon world where Tauros and Miltanks are slaughtered for meat.

If I recall correctly from the anime no animals exist in that world that aren't Pokemon, so if they ever eat meat than it must be Pokemon meat.

I would think Grass Pokemon aren't meat, they are however somewhat sentient plants. So if a vegetarian has objections to eating meat because animals are sentient than they shouldn't eat any type of Pokemon.

"Freedom not be eaten is the right of all sentient beings".

[Good lordy, I spealt meat as meet five times when composing this message. Time for my holiday I think!!]

Erm isnt Chikorita a slug? So at least that can be like them food served by the french? Escargo con chikorita. Bulbasaur - hmmm bulb.... kinda like an onion bulb? we stir fry the back first to add its flavor to the oil then cut the lizard thing at the bottom for the meat, viola instant steak and onions! Oh wait doesnt it evolve from a squirtle? Squirtle soup! Pigeoto would fill a whole lotta pigeon pies! Dunno what that Big Mosasaur looking pokemon is but that would make for a whole lotta sushi! I guess itll be hard to cook Pikachu since he's resistant to heat coz he uses electricity as a power attack - mebbe boil it , give it a shock from its own charge then add some vegies, pikachu stew!

I used to collect the little figures when they first came out as their about a dollar each only back in Phils but Ive since given them up. Although they're still safe on display - just luv my translucent Gengar figure! reminds me of Kremzeek!

what about that flying egg pokemon that turns into a tree? i heard some manufacturers were evolving Pokemon to extract more Pokemon meat, say Diglett evolving to Dugtrio , 2 extra mole meat portions. but me i like Golden Phoenix because of it rarity, fried with cajun sauce yumcha-yama!
