Default Star Wars TFs wave 6 - Clone, Cpt Rex, Vader.

These figures have been seen before, but one is in packaging that reveals it is not just another clone trooper. The AT-TE is listed as 'Captain Rex', which I'm guessing is another character from the Movies or Cartoon series. I recall Cody from the Movie, but not Rex.

Also shown is the V-19, who is still probably a 'Clone Pilot', but it's packaging isn't shown to verify it.
The Darth Vader looks like a straight repack (minus the mini-figure).

Captain Rex doesn't strike a bell with me, either. Then again, I haven't seen most of the films, anyway.

This line could potentially go on for centuries, given all the characters of the Star Wars series. We'll probably see Darth Vader's secretary before long.

Meh, never liked any of the SW:TF's and I probably never will. The bot modes for all of them suck.

I hate the fact that they look like action figures fused with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mutagen and vehicle parts.

If they'd made the bot mode like a TF character, oh the possibilities....Imagine if they'd made the seekers as TIE Interceptors, or made Unicron the Death Star or made Megatron as Vaders TIE Bomber, I'd be all over that like white on rice.

Yeah, that's what I said when these toys first came out in 2006. But now nearly 3 years later it's evident that that's not gonna happen so there's little use in crying over spilt blue milk.

He was also in the Clone Wars movie which came out in cinemas earlier this year (now on DVD). He's also my acquisitions mascot! I wonder if anyone got the "Shattered Glass" reference I did with Rexie in my last acquisitions post...

...that's right, in the Shattered Glass universe Captain Rex is a Sith.

Really? Thanks Cpt Obvious, I didn't realise that 3 years on it might change. What would we do without you over analysing everthing Gok?

I think Hasbro are trying to entice the more numerous Star Wars collectors with the SWTFs than they are trying to entice us Transfans. Personally, I can deal with the Star Wars based robot modes - now that they've realised that human faces just _don't_ work (see: the Starfighter mould and it's overuse).

I guess it makes things difficult from a Transfan perpective sometimes, but for me the SWTFs are still a nice line, overall.

Dude... I was actually in agreement with you! The "crying over spilt blue milk" is a Star Wars reference and wasn't intended to be against your or anything - sorry if you took it that way.

I like the look of Captain Rex. I might grab that one if I see him here. The others are meh. Vader looks like the one from the Vs Obi 2 pack, and the clone pilot looks pretty poor....

I've been told they put blue food dye in actual milk before they sell it to make to whiter then it originally is.
Makes sense to me. Anyone seen the colour of fresh milk? Far from what you get in stores
