Ah, I remember the days of ogling the original Zoids on Target's shelves in Toowoomba, always wanting but never buying. Damn I wanted that Brachiosaurus.

Jay and I have discussed a meet on the Coast, and I've optioned my unit as a potential location (not a big fan a shopping centre meets, especially if it's the Plaza in question). Just with how hectic everything is right now with trying to sort out work, and Jay having a new child and all, it's still up in the air as to when we'll have one.

I'm thinking mid march. My mom's in town until early march, and by then baby stuff should have stabilised and I can probably host. I'm super happy to do it early at another location like Sleeve's place though.

At 1pm today Big W Carindale had:

2 X Skystalker (1 left as I bought one)
3+ Scattorshot
3+ Divebomb

Still no new NEST voyagers anywhere.

Checked out some Chermside shops. Big W has wave 1 ROTF Deluxes as filler as well as the new packaging of Starscream (in bot mode, voyager), Kmart is looking pretty bare except for a Jolt or two, and Toyworld did have the NEST Deluxes (Lockdown, Brawn, Strike Mission Sideswipe, NEST Bumblebee).

Checked 5 more stores, and still no NEST toys...
BigW at Browns Plains and Kuraby had the new Starscream Voyager toys (packaged in robot mode). While Kmart Browns Plains, Target Browns Plains and Target Springwood all had nothing new (except the new SWTFs at the Targets).
Saw more Easter Merchandise at BigW, and will post pics in the News topic.

Went back to Target Mt Gravatt for a $20 Bulkhead for MV75, and the store has over a dozen Megs and Bulks. (I got you one dude )

Stopped off at Kmart Sunnybank, hoping to find the new NEST deluxes (they didn't), but instead found new Legends (Jolt, Arcee, Stealth Bbee),
new Scouts (only had Scattorshot and Skystalker), and new Voyagers (Mindwipe and Defender Optimus).

Bought what I could (damn I hate paying full retail for these things, considering the exchange rate right now), and left a couple Mindwipes and Legends behind.



Also looked like they restocked on their Leaders (Jetfire for $88), and RC Op and BBee ($54 - which is a fair bit less than the $100+ stores were
charging when they were first released - they are US$30 in America).
A day after the sales too, so Legends were $6.75, Scouts were $15.75, and Voyagers were $49.

So much for the March release date I was told...

Lockdown, Ratchet, Brawn, SM Sideswipe, Alliance Bumblebee
Skystalker, Scattershot and Divebomb all appeared at my local
Toyworld in Townsville.

Needless to say...I spend some cash today...

About 6-8 ea. of Mindwipe/Defender at Plaza Kmart, as well as legends jolt, arcee, bluesteel and the latest deluxe wave except (but no more Brawn or Lockdown. Bizarrely, they also had a fresh case of 1st wave deluxes: Sideswipe, Rampage, Sideways, Breakaway. 2 of ea. No news scouts. Heaps of last wave and before. Nada new at Target/Myer.

pretty sure these stuff havent been sighted in QLD yet, the next wave of NEST deluxes is here, I saw them at kmart sunnybank for the normal standard price of $25. There was two brawns, a ratchet, two strike mission sideswipe, two alliance bumblebee and one lockdown, as well as one swerve left over.

This was all in addition to da otha new stuff like mindwipe and scattershot
