If they were with the regular transformers, they are all gone already. (There is a big empty spot on the shelf above all their old Cyberverse crap)

Asked at the service desk... they couldn't find it in their system. I mentioned that someone just had one put on hold, and used that one to get the product number (137490) and called up someone to find it.
Apparently it was the last one left.... someone must have come in and snapped up the others as the box on this one was damaged so the scalper didn't want it.
These won't make it to the Toy Sale... so maybe grab one if you can, if you don't want to wait until September when they show up elsewhere.

Yeah they were in the normal toy section, on the shelf above the Cyberverse and Deluxe Studio Series stuff. I did pass another collector on my way out who said he was on his way in to get one, I hope they just sold out quickly to collectors and didn't all go to scalper scum.

I must admit that I am slightly impressed. I left the 15 Rodimuses and did the rest of my shopping for an hour before coming back at 11am to pick up one, leaving 14. 14 gone between 11am and 3pm. Does anyone go to work during business hours these days?

Those ARE scalpers' working hours . They are getting bought up before the Big W Toy Mania June sale and then will be flogged at a premium. Good thing Rodimus will turn up in numbers later, like Sky Lynx did. And hopefully no one buys the scalped toys.

My local Big W has a whole end of Sky Lynx, should be still for the sale. We I saw it my heart sunk, where?s Rodimus Prime. He was close by, but unfortunately the display was half empty which is a sign these wont last for the Sale. Last year I waited a while for Sky Lynx, cause I missed the sale. Kinda don?t want to go through the same as last year.

There will indeed be more later, like on Amazon and EBGames (who will be charging an extra $30 above RRP)... but for those not willing to wait until July 15th (the embargo date for Rodimus after BigW has their exclusive early release on June 15th), this would have been a great chance to be one of the first fans in the world to have one of the major figures of the current toyline, compared to how we are usually frustratingly drooling at photos posted by foreigners months before a toy gets released here.

I posted up the BigW product number above to help out others here, because they couldn't find it on their system without it (they had to scan the barcode of the one on hold just to get the product number - 137490.

I hope yours was still there, as I could only see one on the shelf through the open door to the holding area... as I would not be impressed if someone else claimed it or convinced a staff member to give it to them.

    Photos from today...
After reading at lunch today that Carindale BigW had Rodimus (15 of them), I headed over there after work, stopping off at Toyworld on the way (since it is outside the main shopping centre).

Toyworld at 2.30pm - 8x T-Wrecks for $99 each (seven left). Plus two new licensed Jada figures that I hadn't seen there before, of robot modes this time (they usually do vehicle modes). The Gen1 Bumblebee has light-up eyes.
Can anyone see what is wrong with the back of the Bumblebee box?
Their licensed micro sized figures are on a display at the front of the store.

Then at BigW at 2.45pm - a big empty space where 15 Rodimus Prime toys were just 4 hours earlier (or at least 10 less than 2 hours ago).
I really hope they weren't all (or most) grabbed by one person to on-sell for profit. This is a toy aimed at the more dedicated collectors, who should be able to go to a store and get one at the lowest regular retail price here in Australia, and not have to pay extra to a scalper or wait for the more expensive stock is released in July at other places.

I got my bro to get it. I have held something before only to have a "mix up". The thing is freaking rad! A bit tricky transformation, but is solid and way better than I imagined. My 8 year old is going to lose his mind.
