Derpy backpack - I'd agree with that... I think it was pink!! But I wouldn't go with death incarnate...

Who's Acid Storm? Is this guy even a real TF??

Yeah I think unfortunately poor Acid Storm may end up being one of those who sit on the shelf, but for the sake of stock coming to WA, I hope not. At least its highly unlikely to be like MP Rodimus, which may have in part led to our paltry supply of MP-10.

Wow that sucks, I went every day and called and they didn't reserve it. Guess ordering online was a smart call.
Pretty sure jondaloup and Morley had them. If this is the case.

I am actually slightly annoyed, being I had a disadvantage as I am slightly crippled and walking to the store everyday and I am being told the wrong thing. I would have been fine if they said sold out but now knowing I called and they said it hasn't "arrived" really pisses me off when one of you reported one was behind the counter reserved.

lol Thati wasnt me, I was working in welshpool all day. Wearing a pinnk derpy backpack? I think i'd rather run imto a wall lol. The death incarnate part would be in your descriiption if you had really seen me there.

Aqua Prime and I picked up 2 of the 3 only MP Optimus Primes that TRU Cannington had in the past. I duess from 3 to 18 is an impeovement, but it still sold out in less than half a day so shame on you TRU.

Is there a complaint box for WA TRU? I like them to fight for our state for more stocks as I think it was a joke really.

Yep. It really wasnt handled very well. Pretty disastrous, but I'm relatively new to this so I didn't know if this is how it normally plays out.

Considering one of the Perth stores (Cannington) got almost as many as the entire city of Brisbane, you got a better deal than we did.

Brisbane has just 2 stores and 2.2 million people. We only got 20 Soundwaves, which is 1 per 110,000 people.
Perth has 4 stores and 1.9 million people. So even if the other three stores just got in 10 each, that's still at least 48 Soundwaves, equating to 1 per 40,000 people. Almost three times as many Soundwaves-per-capita than Brisbane.

I did ask TRU a few days ago for some stock numbers to each of their 35 stores, and which ones have sold out (telling them that it could help minimise harassment from people if a store had limited stock or sold out), but I doubt they will divulge those sorts of details.

IMO in any retail situation some customers will win some customers will lose out. Remember when it was first launched on USA TRU website and it did not ship to Australia. We were all up in arms but some even compliant and said customer service was not good blah blah blah

Let's face it , it's just a toy not some miracle drug that saves us all. I know it's cheaper than Takaratomy version but I feel we as a forum especially TF focus to be more understanding of the retail market.

I too was annoyed that Perth online had no stock when the rest of Australia had them. I lost yesterday but won today

Well thats pretty atrocious. You guys did WAY worse off then we did.
I dont understand why they ordered such low numbers - surely they must have been aware of the demand for this particular figure? I mean - they are a TOY shop. It is what they do.
    Oh well.

It would be nice if they could at least say which stores have sold out as yes, that would certainly avoid a lot of hassle on both ends.

Well yeah. But i do find it ridiculous that something that is in such demand is only available for a few hours in store before its gone, in some cases it didnt even reach the shelves. Thats just poor ordering.

You have to remember WA is bigger than NSW and VIC joint together, people from down South can't get one that easily.

Is up to them to disclose details, but I am already disappointed I have been mislead by Innaloo store and further more hearing someone managed to "reserve" one is annoying when being told they don't do it. (double standards)

Further to add WA can't use the vouchers is kind of bias? I dunno, if I didn't do the online order I be so pissed off at the moment.

    Thanks for your help Giffin
