Hi guys, first post here. Just spotted the takara tomy optimus prime & Gaia Unicron set @ Myer city for $99. There were 3 on the shelf if anyone is interested. I didn't take a photo but it was the same as this: http://www.robotkingdom.com/cny2013uni.html .

Is the Optimus any different from the normal Prime version?

I got the impression that there were only very minor differences to their earlier separate JP versions... and I think that earlier JP version was similar to the Hasbro version.





I should have the official images of the two pack somewhere on my computer, but will need to find them.

From what I remember, both figures had a metallic paint job. Everything else looked the same.

If anyone is wanting a Metroplex, BigW Whitfords have 3 for $148 each. They are not in the Transformers section but a few aisles over in the bulky toys section.
Woolies has the new Beast Hunters legion White Ace Vehicon, blue streak, RotGut, and Divebomb.

Metroplex was on clearance at Myer Morley for approx $150.
I would presume that's Myer-wide.

Found Cyberverse Legion Rot Gut, Divebomb, Bluestreak and Ace Vehicon today at Coles Dog Swamp. Bought Rot Gut and Divebomb; there was only the one Ace there, but plenty of Bluestreak, Airachnid, and a single Hun-Grr.

Good to hear that they will show up at any Coles re-stocking, as well as Woolies.


Anyone wanting all four, just be aware that there is only one RotGut per case of 12, and just two of each of the other three new figures... so get in fast when a new case arrives.
