Picked up my ss86 ironhide early today, preordered him while zing had him cheaper than retail, so had to pay the extra. Just a warning

Yes, this!!!
If you have a phone that can browse the web and you have an EB/Zing account, bring it up on your phone ready for when you are picking up your item, and show the cashier that, and they will honour that amount. I did that on Wednesday with SS86 Ironhide at a Zing store, and their computer said I had to pay the remainder to make up $60, but when I showed them the amount on my phone ($45), I only had to pay $35 (deposit was $10).

Also, if you have an employee who is unwilling, or too new to know what to do, have them call up head office (or you do it if they won't), and they will tell the store to honour whatever the price is when you ordered it. (a few months ago I was speaking to the main customer service number from the website when questioning Velocitron Scourge, to make sure that it would be honoured when it came in.)

I picked up Ironhide to but they did it at $45 so only $35 to pay which I preordered him at just told the girl at Belmont and she's like oh lucky you told me!

Are you meant to receive an email when your pre-order is available for pickup?

Just checked my EB account re Scourge and it has a green tick next to Processed. My Zing Ironhide doesn't however, and still says estimated released 16 Jan.
