Christalcase was able to get the Garden City store to price match the bigw catalogue, but took a while... if TRU didn't charge so much for their toys, it wouldn't look like they were loosing a lot of money matching that other sale price.

they gave the condition that it has to be in the same area. I was in Chatswood and no Big W's there. I told them that TRU castle hill matched Big W's price and Big W was nowhere near TRU castle hill.

You might want to see what their price match policy is in detail so that next time you can get the price you want. Big W not being in the same building is a bit suss and lame.yes, I know. But they actually asked if it was in the same mall/complex area.
