Rachael Taylor... where have I heard that name before? Oh yeah!

    ;D
She's definitely nicer looking than Megan Fox IRL IMO.

That's nothing new - Michael Bay is a notoriously demanding director to work with, and Bay admits that he is very demanding.

In the DVD behind the scenes extras you see one shot where the crew take their revenge on Bay one day by pelting him with director's megaphones as a practical joke - something which even Bay laughed at and congratulated the crew for catching him totally unaware.

From what I've heard - Bay's like a little kid who's full of energy always running around - and it must be difficult (and tiring!) for the rest of the cast and crew to have to keep up with him as your boss.

But in all honesty, the character of Maggie wasn't so crucial that she would be needed for TF2. Her role (and that of Glenn's too) in TF1 was to detect and decipher the Decepticons' hacking signal and provide intelligence to the US govt. - but otherwise are minor supporting characters.

More lead actors would have already signed a long-term contract locking them in for sequels, whether they enjoy working with Michael Bay or not.

But never fear, Hugo Weaving will still represent the Australian contingent in the sequels.

That Arcee she's about to sign is still sealed. Which is a good thing because it's not a great recolour. I actually reviewed her last night (borrowed from liegeprime).

Seems somehow appropriate that Taylor (& Fox) signed a female character, however.

while michael is definitely a demanding director, it really seemed like most of the cast and crew get that he is very goal oriented, and always pushing for all the set ups he does. he's fast and loud, and some people take that as obnoxious or arrogant. from everything i've ever actually heard from his lips and people that worked with him it doesn't seem like he's too bad. it's always comparable of course.

Pelting with the director's megaphones? How many megaphones hit their mark?

Their aim sure is pretty lousy as Bay still was able to laugh and congratulate them, hmph. >
