Default TF2 big-item toy and merch news.

The TF2 movie is going to be an even bigger money spinner for Hasbro, as they get to re-release a whole lot of TF1 stuff, with either minor remoulding, redecos, or just a straight re-packaging. And still charge the same as the originals which already recouped the R&D costs, so it's all profit this time.

From the UK Toyfair, and an Asian online store, a number of TF1 items have been revealed, plus one 'new' TF2 item.

For all those collectors who were disappointed with Ultimate Bumblebee the first time around, you will get another chance to be disappointed all over again, as he will be re-released with a new hat, I mean, head...

The Bumblebee Blaster is being re-released, but not sure if it will have any new detailing, as it is just his arm, and that doesn't appear to be changing in TF2.

Judging by the report, it sounds like the remote controlled racetrack set will be re-released as well (Barricade Vs Bumblebee if I recall).

The Voice Changer Helmet gets a make-over as well, with the Optimus Prime Helmet apparently getting some battle damage (paint or detailing), and re-released.

And for the only 'new' item from all of this, a Bumblebee Helmet (but will be based off the Optimus Helmet design no doubt). It is said to have additional 'radio sounds' added to the voice-changing and sound effects.

Bumblebee mask... hopefully they do one for the decepticons this time round, and I know which one I would want.
Hopefully we see a redeco of voyager Incinerator. Decepticons are going to be alot more interesting this time around. It's going to be an exciting year, as we are going to be in for alot of surprises both good and bad !! even If I promised myself I'm gonna be selective

Extra $90 - $120 odd for another ultimate bumblebee just with a change of "mask"? I think I'll happily stick with the one I have... unless they make him remote control or something..

I don't get it - why make more of all the stuff that just shelf-warmed the first time?

Because the shelves are getting cold again.
