    You can take it back.
I find it easier to get warm when it is cold then to cool down when it's hot

Driving up the Hume to Canberra and surrounds would have been a killer in the old car, but the new one's air con works wonders!

It's strange, Sydney itself never really gets too hot too often, out West and South West it gets to 40 at least a dozen times a year, yet in Melbourne, the city is just as hot as the outlying suburbs.

The Melbourne heat is moving north still Sydney itself is looking at 40+ temps by Saturday, which does not bode well for those living in Penrith, Liverpool or Campbelltown.

I really feel for the Adelaidians here, the dry heat is unbearable. Perth is possibly the best city for heat, at least you get a breeze every afternoon to cool you down a bit if you cannot make it to a beach.
and you didn't yell out to me while going over the bridge threw wodonga. shame on you

the AC in my house decided to die leaving my house heated like a sauna so I packed up and stayed out in Kadina at my mum's place for the last 2 weeks.
it was pretty bad yesterday. I found a falcon sick from heat exhaustion in my front yard.
I called the RSPCA to come collect him but by the time they made it the poor fella died

Hey and how about all the Koalas coming out of the trees for water!

We had a 48.C yesterday- about 5 years ago i worked for an almond harvesting mob. Got to over 50.C and the aircon in the heavy steel tree shaker just didnt work at all. Still surprises me today that we didnt shut the machine down (the temp gauge was sitting on 90.c all day long and amazingly didnt go higher and overheat).

    Never seen a tree shaker?
