Universe Galvatron was moved to a Deluxe class and designed for Deluxe because we had too many tank-like vehicles in the Ultra and Voyager classes. Powerglide and Silverbolt are actually not white but Silver. Silverbolt’s silver is a cool silver while Powerglide’s is a warmer silver. We added red highlights to Powerglide to pay tribute to the original red colour scheme of the character. Jets/planes tend to fill the package nicely and are very popular with fans and children. These two jets have very different silhouettes, hopefully fans and children don’t mind that there are two jet because they are both so cool and different.

Is this even an answer? If so, I don't understand!

How many Voyager "Tank-like" vehicles have we got in the Classics 2.0 line??? I can't think of one!

Now in regard to Onslaught... he's an armoured-vehicle not a tank! And even if we count him - that makes the grand total of 2! So when has 2 become "too many"?? (Geez - the Autobots, which are usually cars, have 3 jets for crying out loud)

This doesn't make any sense - Galvatron could easily have been a Voyager (Like Jetfire is a voyager while Powerjugs & Silverbolt are Ultras!! )

You're forgetting Dropshot and Overload. You see they had to use that tank toy twice because um... help me out here Hasbro!

Chris Ryall still says Drift is happening.

I figured that something like this would happen, hopefully now Hasbro HQ will have to clarify one way or the other.

Truth be told, I'd say Hasbro Au would have a better idea of what's in the pipeline that Ryall, I'm guessing that Ryall has been told there will be a toy made, but Hasbro have yet to confirm it by placing it in a particular wave or toy line.

Yep, I've noticed the storm this Q stirred up on the major fan forums.
I figured it would be the one of the set that might get some interest, but am a bit worried that someone (Hasbro or IDW) is going to end up looking bad when it is confirmed one way or the other.

"Thanks to our friend over at TFormers for letting us know that Chris Ryall, IDW Editor & Chief has stated that a Drift figure is still in the pipeline. He goes on to say that it may be as simple as branches outside of Hasbro US not being fully aware of future products are. (It has happened in the past)."

    I Didn't forget - I chose to ignore

But see, even this rationale (which Hasbro must be using) totally discredits what Hasbro are actually saying. They're stating that all these other "tank-like" figures (which are Cybertron repaints) are included, making "too many" of the same type of vehicle. Well, what about the following repaints... Tread Bolt, Storm Cloud, Blaster, Vector Prime? How many more jet-like vehicle repaints are we gonna get in the Voyager/Ultra line. No problem having "too many" of those!

Sorry, but no one from Hasbro has ever given us a satisfactory reason why Universe Galvatron is only a deluxe size! (I'm getting annoyed by his - and it wasn't even my question submitted to the Q&A!)
