The title character of TF2 should have been a 'masterpiece', or centerpiece for the TF2 movie toys, but in way, it is living up to its Decepticon predecessor. A toy that looks to be a mess in both modes, in an attempt to look more alien than we are used to. But the more you de-humanise something, the less people are able to relate to it to want to have it. Hasbro kinda learnt that mistake with Transmetal 2s and Beast Machines - if the primary consumer (parents, young kids) can't easily recognise it, they won't buy it. Unfortunately, the movie people are running the show with these forms, and to them, the more unusual it looks on screen, the better they think it looks. Without any concern for how it may look as a toy.
This one does look a little better than Megatron, but I think I should have been 'blown away' by the feature bad guy toy. And this toy doesn't do that to me.
