Dumb question. Does WFC K Galvatron not have an equivalent to the G1 toy's gun mode?
I have a list of all G1 characters that have been released in CHUG form. You can find it here. Please feel free to let me know if I got anything wrong so I can fix it.
It's strange that these WFC toys have been very faithful to the alt-modes of the originals, especially ones that have 3 modes, and then give up on this major character... even if the gun mode was probably only seen in the comics once or twice.
Not really that strange. Looks like a hard toy to turn into a submarine.
I still love the recurring joke that RFC had with John Warden about whether he could pivot Sixshot upside down.
To Griffin's point - the only other figure that hasn't been G1 specific has been Megatron which would be for the same reason there is only the cannon emplacement mode for Galvatron.
Yes of course, Megatron can't homage the original alt-mode of a handgun... but they do a great job with the robot modes most of the time.
That said, Galvatron doesn't even remotely look like a hand gun, or even the colours of a real gun... but can concede it if they didn't want to risk it (which would be a pretty weak reason, as one of their biggest selling toylines is Nerf, which is all about guns, in a variety of shapes and colours, so they can't be too afraid of any negative press about some other toy of theirs resembling a non-realistic gun).
Galvatron already has an orange barrel!
Does anyone know what the N.C. in MP Spin-Out's 'N.C. Beam rifle' stands for?
Is studio series 77 an exclusive or will it be released around the world?
