Transformers questions by newbies, and not-so-newbies

Skywarp and Terrorcon Cliffjumper have "Hasbro" on it with "Tomy"... and I think the people who have been collecting all the JP versions were the ones to first notice which ones didn't have "Hasbro" at all (Breakdown and Jet Vehicon).
(I only have those two moulds that were released by Hasbro, so can't say what the others have on them)

Thanks Griffin, that's the sort of indicator I was looking for, it indicates to me that if there was to be a local release of either it would be significantly different to the Takara Version, enough to warrant perhaps two jet vehicons for my collection, one from Takara and a future ptential one from Hasbro.

If so, how can they pull it off since this is an 80s vintage mold that hasn't really been used since. They could easily make it into a G1 colored reissue if they can do that officially.

I'd be more inclined to try a Japanese Export Store than BBTS, as it is a Takaratomy Japanese release rather than a Hasbro US release. That will save you some shipping in the first place, plus a local store will just add their shipping plus a bit for them on top anyway.

HLJ still has it available and are a trustworthy source.

I've tried forum searching for this question, but I can't find any results for my specific question

I'm going out tomorrow to buy a handful of Kre-o Transformer minifigures. I know there is 6 different ones, and have also noticed at the bottom of the front of the packages, there are a few different number combinations.

So my question is, can I test my luck with trying for 6 different combinations, or is there another way to do this? Or am I just going to have to actually blind pick and cross my fingers?

That's actually fair enough - the OTCA search engine only works on words of four letters long or bigger, and it seems to treat "Kre-o" as a three-letter word and a one-letter word, which I suspect is why people can't find the information.
