Transformers questions by newbies, and not-so-newbies

Since the Micromasters were released 2 years after Scorponok, it is possible that Hasbro were planning a redeco like Takara did (Black Zarak a year after Zarak/Scorponok).
Or maybe, the plan was to have Metroplex and Scorponok redecoed and released with the Micromasters as base-formers, but Hasbro later canned the idea, while Takara still went ahead and redecoed Metroplex as Metrotitan.

The colours made me think of Sixknight though, the JP redeco of Quickswitch.

Does anyone else have problems with universe Hot Shots arms coming off? Both of mine popped off in the space of 15 seconds last night and now I can't work out how to put them back on.

No, mine are fine. But my TFCC Dion's arms or legs popped off when I was transforming him, though it was simple enough to put them back on. Of course, my Universe Hot Shot is a weird Hasbro-Takara hybrid mongrel.

Did you buy both the Hasbro and Takara versions and merge them together?

No, it's Hasbro Universe Hot Shot - but due to some weird freak factory error, it has Universe and Henkei Hot Shot parts.
