I used to use SAL all the time. It's reliable in that you will eventually get your delivery.

usually it would take a month, but a couple of times I had a package take almost 2 months to get to me...

Not sure about the boxes. I went to Reverse Garbage (like a tip shop) up here and bought a heap of clear acrylic sheet off cuts. Hit 'em with a heat gun and bent the sheet into three sided rectangles... got about 2 dozen stands/risers of varying depths, widths and heights for a few bucks... when my wife hasn't stolen them and is using them upside down for holding her cookbooks!

Yes, it's reliable. As Tetsuwan Convoy said, don't expect your stuff in a hurry.

buy a box of ferrero Rochere, eat the chocolates and keep the box...
only problem with these is the rounded edges reduce your available flat real estate.

I've used it once, it was pretty fast, maybe a couple weeks.

Is there a website that I can look up all the different toy released of a particular TF character? For example if I wanted to know all the different versions of sideswipe toys that had been released (including convention exclusives). And it'd be nice if there was pictures too but I don't want to be greedy.

I'd use the tfwiki to see all version based on a specific character in a specific continuity. You can just go to the disambiguation page for Sideswipe, go to each version and go to toys.
    Otherwise, I'm not sure.

tfu . info is pretty good as well, just type in their name and you should have like a whole list of results based on toys

+1 -- TFU.info is good for that. Also Fred's Variations Quest.

Thanks. TFU was a great help. I tried tfwiki first but it wasn't working for me.

What's the difference between Takara and Hasbro animated releases? Is it the same as with the CHUG lines in that the Takara ones have higher quality/better looking paint apps?

Or are they much of a muchness?
