Transformers questions by newbies, and not-so-newbies

I've been looking at pictures of CW Superion, and found myself wondering, are all of the Aerialbot limbs except Alpha Bravo just retools of each other, with different alt modes but very similar robot modes? In which case I only need to get one version, according to my collecting rules?

Nah man, there is nothing similar between the planes so far.... But they do share similar design features. It's like the originals, all transformed exactly the same, designed with the same articulation, but 100% unique.

Unlike all the other teams, where every member was different.... But dead end and breakdown did it too, both cars, same transformation, totally different...

What toy line do the Asia Kids Day Protectobots technically come under? Generations? Universe? Prime? Or is it just Thrilling 30?

Not quite... Air Raid and Skydive sport the exact same moulding for the lower legs, combiner peg and slightly retooled arms.

Wow - $55 They are like $10 on Amazon!

I think they might have been exclusive to Amazon in America... and if so, BBTS probably bought them at full price from Amazon, before Amazon started reducing their price to clear them out... and BBTS take longer to discount items.
