Oh, those are a different sort of Legends to the current type (which is what I thought you meant). They are the robot only versions of the Pretender Classics (Jazz, Grimlock, Bumblebee, Starscream) from around 1989/1990 and weren't sold in Australia (as far as I know)

I have a question about the Quintessons.

What role(s) did they, and their planet play (if any) in the comics continuity?

Please enlighten me with your knowledge. Thanks!

They only appeared in the UK story, Space Pirates. Their planet was being destroyed so they were making plans to conquer another metallic world to make their homeworld. Cybertron was top of their list and they attacked Transformers there and on Earth but were eventually beaten by an Autobot-Decepticon alliance and exiled to space with their planet destroyed.

They do appear in the US comic in a straight adapation of the cartoon episode Big Broadcast of 2006.

In the Dreamwave comics it was looking like they were involved in some mysterious events in Cybertron history, and responsible for all female Autobots, but the story never got completed.

I always thought that was because the TFC Prime came with the Collector's Album (which everyone wants/needs). I may be wrong tho...

I'm pretty sure they were sold in Australia - well, at least I definitely know Grimlock was... cos my best friend in Primary School had him...

I meant the non-Pretender versions. I still have all the Classic Pretender versions.

I had Classic Pretender w/out shell Jazz. I always thought I was missing parts but never realised till now it was packaged singularly as part of a "classic" line

The only difference between the Pretender and non-Pretender Legend version of Jazz (other than lack of shell) was that Legend Jazz had Pretender Bumblebee's gun (and non-Pretender Bumblebee has Pretender Jazz's gun).

I have it (the book) but I don't really want/need it and it has a few books in there from various figures.
What would anyone be willing to pay for it?
