C10 - Mint condition = great
C9 - Near Mint condition = good enough to have in collection
C8 - Excellent condition = acceptable
C7 - Very Good to Excellent condition = gotta look for a C9 piece
C6 - Very Good Condition = fail
C5 - Good to Very Good condition = unaccceptable
C4 - Good condition = unaccceptable
C3 - Fair condition = no way
C2 - Poor to Fair condition = this is not a toy
C1 - Poor condition = not a snowball's chance in hell

Buying a toy second hand online is least advisable. Avoid any sales that use stock photos - online purchase from dealers who've taken their own photos of the toys they're selling. But even then, photos can lie because they can be photographed from positions which hide certain flaws that some less scrupulous sellers don't bother describing. As such I find this to be the most hazardous form of toy-shopping and it's something I very seldomly do (I don't even have an eBay account).

I agree to a certain extent, however if you know what to be on the lookout for it can also be the most rewarding, especially for collectors of vintage figures. There are multiple resources available for the 'newbie' collector including (but not limited to) HIGHENDTFS and Transformers Variants. Anyone here would also be more than willing to assist in giving their advice on a particular toy.

The best advice when shopping around on the online second-hand market is to ask for additional photos / information whenever you are in doubt. Any honest seller would be more than willing to oblige because they're interested in repeat business. Also, go with your 'gut feeling' as this is almost always right.

Thundercracker is my favourite Seeker, as he was my first "big" Transformer, and would like a Universe version to go with my original G1 and Masterpiece.

Only a matter of time before it is announced. They have done all the others so far. I would be suprised if it is not announced before Xmas.

geez your strict some of my stuff are in the C6-7 by my assessment but Im ok with those hehehe since Ive also had C5 stuff which I only take parts of piecemeal and complete a more "acceptable" figure....

Big W did have them a while back and on 50% off sale for $25 too, I didn't realise how fun Minicons are at the time and missed it but managed to get a set from Icy more recently.
There were some nice ones in there, though the taxi wasn't that good. I'd suggest picking it up if you can find it at a decent price.
