TF3 preliminary release date. (yes, already)

As movie producers rush to lock in certain dates before the competition, Paramount/Dreamwave have already scheduled the release of TF3 for July 1st 2011. This isn't exactly surprising, as a lot of big budget films are already being announced for 2011 release, and, the release date of TF1 was announced 2 years before its release as well.

But be aware that this doesn't guarantee TF3 will be done, or has been signed up yet. It is just getting the US Holiday weekend before some other big movie does. And the release date can also change at any time, as many movies do. At least this gives us an idea of what Paramount/Dreamwave want to do with the franchise, and that TF2 will undoubtably have a plot that allows for a third movie.

Yes, there are no guarantees, I remember the lead up to the Hulk movie, so confident they green lit two sequels, then we got a reboot

Nah, that's not until the 21st – 23rd December 2012 The movie will be out by then

(although we may not see Christmas )
