I think they actually came out early! I never had any previously but bought a bunch of this new lot, haven't opened any yet though. I love the look of the Ford WRC car. A billion stickers though apparently.

The Ford WRC car looks great. It would still be OK without the stickers, but they certainly add to the model. Liking the look of the classic 911 from 75888 and the classic Ferrari cars from 75889. I picked up the Ferrari F1 car last year, but it is still in the box.

A Lego Documentary is on SBS tonight at 7.30pm, for the hardcore lego fans... or people who want to learn a little more about this toy.

Saw that documentary yesterday and gee what an eye opener. Love how the Architecture series came into being. Love that Lego HQ learnt to listen to the fans and stopped being arrogant. Love the Rivendell display. Love the life-size Lego X-wing. Love the Lego museum art. Love that The Magic Portal movie is mentioned. And most of all I love how Lego is used to help autistic children.

There's just so much packed into this documentary.

Not sure if it's the same lego doco I saw some time ago with reference to One by Five. So typical nerdville.

The Magic Portal is quite entertaining if anyone hasn't seen it and has 16 mins to spare https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jde4qHbCtSg

While on the topic of helping kids, I was really amazed to see this vid of a kid who built a Technic prosthetic arm for himself: https://youtu.be/vFymKqUwodY
His MK II version used parts mainly from just this one set: https://shop.lego.com/en-AU/Air-Race-Jet-42066
