After many years of hunting, several disappointments and heartaches, I have finally achieved my twin goals of acquiring a complete MISB set of Takara TFC and Hasbro Commemorative reissues. I now have closure and can now die in peace

Thanks mate, it is a great feeling when you complete a collection you set out to finalise. It's kinda like full circle as the TFC collection and Hasbro reissue got me back into Transformers again. I started with a few but never thought I'd be able to get the set after being so far behind and even contemplated giving up. So glad I persisted

Found a surprise in my post box that almost brought a tear to my eye (fortunately I was in a public place, so restrained myself).
I was only at the post office to pay for a bill, and just checked my mail box while I was there, because I'm not expecting anything at the moment. But there was a collection notice card in there for a registered item, and I had no idea what it could be.
I went to the counter and was handed a small padded envelope, with Kyle's return address on it, which had me really puzzled.
Opening it up, I found a copy of the first Volume AHM book, autographed by the Perth comic duo at the recent signing session over there, and a note saying that it was from 'fellow fans' for 'everything you've done for us Ozformers fans over the years'.
Thanks heaps to those responsible. You really shouldn't have, as I don't do this to get anything in return. But you guys are great. I really appreciate the gift. (hugs to all)

Lucky I wasn't planning to get this before BotCon (IDW sell their comics and TPBs there), so that I didn't end up spoiling the gesture by already buying this.

That said, I'm not planning to buy a Grand Maximus any time soon either...
