    Default 2008 Seasons Greetings Thread

Today is the first day of Lent... so happy Lent! Some Orthodox Christians observe Lent by fasting for the next 40 days (not including Sundays)

Today is also Lunar New Year Eve so happy Lunar New Year (Year of the Rat) for 2008!

    Ah yes Rattrap, how perfect.

And it's nice to see someone use the term "Lunar New Year" too.

Happy New Year to all our Asian brothers and others who are celebrating the arrival of the Year of the Rat.

Red pockets aplenty in our household this morning.......for everyone but me.

I forsee it will be a most auspicious year for the Ozformers.

It's Lunar New Year (as measured by cycles of the moon) - the other one was the Solar New Year (as measured by the Earth's revolution around the Sun).
