Since im new to Hot Wheels collecting and know sweet stuff all about the toys, when I got invited to join a Facebook group for New Zealand Hot Wheels collectors I accepted and asked questions

Yesterday someone posted a picture of a car that I knew was a Treasure Hunt. His phots weren't that clear and it looked different, so I asked it it was a super.

    Two replies
    'no its a regular...'
'you're not serious are you..... asking if it super? The Reg is Bright yellow like on the card and on the car pick up beside it. Don't need to see the $ sign..'

    I got rather annoyed

'Yes I was f****** serious in asking. I don't know the in's and out of this collecting hobby so I ask questions so I can learn. But since most people in here think they are so f***** elite and asking a simple question gets this sort of reply I don't know why I even bother with this group anymore.'

    There was one futher reply
'mate it was a joke no need to get upset... and it is fairly obvious its a super... paint/wheels give it away... not that hard to tell the difference'

    ---
No its not obvious it was a super. I don't know anything about how to tell what wheel and paint combination make for a super.

Yeah, stick to Transformers, and we'll only give you that sort of answer if you ask about a premium Vs regular version Movie toy...

Have logged an unauthorized payment claim with Paypal but i'm pulling my hair out in the meantime! Freaking unsecure POS Paypal!

fearing internet security, I have that security card they sell which is linked to your account and you press a button and it generates the 6digit code.

I wondered if it was ever worth the purchase and it seems maybe so

hope it works out with paypal/bank and you get your money back soon kurdt

    Thanks Kaiden!
I just logged in to Paypal actually, and was greeted with the limited access questionnaire... finally got through that and then to case history... thankfully they judged in my favour and should be refunded in a few days!

My fingers are crossed for a favourable exchange rate, maybe i'll end up with more than i started!
Edit: just checked. Lost 1c for the experience!

That sucks Kaiden- hopefully the exchange rate makes up for it though.

On a separate note, when the hell will some eBay sellers learn the difference between a vintaqe toy's box and a mailing box- especially when it's a rare vintage toy?
