I usually say 'excuse you' and wait for a reaction

That trick doesn't work so well when the rude person is in a car. One time I was crossing at a pedestrian crossing and pushing Strollertron - and another father was also pushing his baby in a pram with children walking beside him coming in the other direction, and both of us had our respective wives next to us. So you have a pedestrian crossing with two sets of parents, two strollers/prams and another two young children all walking across... this driver just drove right through us nearly taking us all out! The other father yelled out, "Excuse you!" to the driver, but of course it fell on deaf ears as his windows were up and he was speeding away. All we could do was just look at each other and shake our heads in disbelief at that driver.

The other stupid thing was, he was driving out of a carpark too... so he really shouldn't have been driving that fast and he definitely should be paying attention as exiting a carpark.

    Rude and dangerous! (just charming)

Telemarketer calls me during having a BBQ with my family...

Telemarketer: 'Hello there, I am **** from *****. How are you today?'

Me: 'I'm having dinner with my family here, could you not have called at a better time?'

Telemarketer: 'Oh, do you know that you can save up on your phone bills if you join up with us?'

Me: 'Dear Fine Madam, I have 2 words of the English language for you - 'F**K YOU' - *Hangs up phone*

Seconds later I get the same number calling me.

    Me: 'LAALALLALALALLALALALALLALALAALALAALALA'

    Telemarketer hangs up.

    Telemarketer: 0
    Skywarp91: 1

I think 1orion2many may take offense to that comment

They actually considered a few years ago issuing mature age drivers with an 'M' plate so other drivers on the road would be aware. Pensioners argued that this was undignified so they ditched it. I actually thought it was a good idea... I mean they have about the same reflexes as a learner driver (I'm being serious and not slack).

Well the main problem is at the local shops here. it was a single one way lane....18 years ago. but now its a double lane. however so many older residents treat it like a single lane and drive in the middle XD

SkyWarp91: I normally "play" with Telemarketers when they call me (strangely enough, they don't call me no more ). But if I were in that situation where I didn't have time to string them along, I'd just leave the handset on a table -- don't hang up... and that's it. I'd then just go off and have my dinner. Let them talk to thin air and waste their time and money! Or better yet, put on a Transformers episode or movie or music and let it play into the handset (just say "please hold" and pretend it's your hold audio).
