I actually set lower. Example 75 on 80kmh limit and yes I don't road hog and I stick to the left.

It's not worth it. Is basically one masterpiece I could have afford.

I got caught for just speeding over 3kmh. And yes damn pissed as it was a down slope.
Aren't there guideline to which speed camera must operate in WA.

Back in the day, setting speed traps on a downhill road were common. These practices are no longer permissible ... at least in VIC anyhow.

Nah I don't think they give a damn

Not only down slope but within 50m in 80 -100 kmh sign board where people in normal instinct accelerate

Actually depends on the car I think. I've never caught my car's cruise control going overspeed downhill but a rental car I drove a fortnight back was far more forgiving.

Setting traps downhill is currently permissible in VIC

The caveat though is that, if challenged, I think these downhill setups are difficult to prove to be accurate and refunding fines probably costs the government more than it's worth.

I don't think it was okay for them to fine me on a down slope when I exceeded 3kmh that was rubbish.

It shouldn't be allowed and do was putting a hidden camera just before the 100kmh sign board was also poor IMO .
