How cold does it get there in winter? Is it way humid in Perth in summer? I don't mind the heat but can't stand the humidity...

A mate of mine had major issues because he hadn't updated the firmware for a while. Maybe it's that?

Summer is awesome. You can actually do stuff outside in the arvos before it gets cold and dark. I was swimming at 8pm on Thursday in a rock pool watching twilight turn to night. Can't do that in winter. Ocean is a lovely 21 degrees atm and the humidity isn't that high.

    Bring it on!!

Winter 'coldest' day is normally 15 ish degrees. Not very humid, and I don't mind the dry heat that much but when it goes on for a week or more it gets pretty tiring. That's why I now work outdoors at night time !

I've had the work Christmas rosters out for about a week, but I'm STILL getting people asking 'when are we working next week?' or "oh I've arranged to do blah blah blah"

I've noticed as I'm getting older my tolerance for cold is dropping, so I'm loving it. I'm the only person at work still wearing a jumper (the aircon is freezing) and I have gone through previous summers wearing long pyjamas at night.

Just annoying and frustrating as for most people it is working 15 minutes out of the box. I've had nothing but trouble.

It is a good machine, the Up Plus 2, maybe I just got a dud, (dead upon deboxing)

Haven't given up hope, perhaps its just some small thing that once fixed all will work.

Cross your fingers and toes for me : )
Gotta give the support team credit, now they are sending a replacement motherboard and cabling. All at no charge to me. It nicer than been given the run around like some other places.
And the person at the other end speaks clear fluent Australian standard English, no accent, f* yay! Very understanding mob.

good luck with your printer, i'd be very interested to see the print quality when you have time once it's up and running.

I dropped my 3DS XL today. Just my luck too. I have been so careful with it. Yet one drop and it had cracked one of the hinges. Now I am so paranoid about snapping it when I open or close it.

I have emailed Nintendo to see if they will fix it. I have the feeling they will, but not under warranty so Ii may have to pay for it :/

Been sick all week, was getting better yesterday but felt like crap again last night
now I'll be spending new years on the couch with a box of tissues watching whatever happens to be on tv
I would spend new years playing Super Mario 3D world which was a Christmas gift from my mum that just arrived yesterday, but my charger for my Wii U game pad doesn't seem to be working, now I can't play my Wii U until I get a new one
what a way to end the year...
