One of the group looked over and said adults should only buy toys for their kids insinuating that's what I was there for to which I ever so politely () told them to leave the kid alone and that I was buying for myself and again ever so politely () asked if they had issue with that.
They promptly left which was rather rude as they didn't complete the conversation ha ha
The poor kid looked at me with a large smile and said thanks, I told him always be proud of who you are.. and then left with my toys
