    They probably don't get much or any training in workplace/food health and safety... just how to make the subs... especially if they are a youngen who still lives at home and still doesn't know how to cook or know what food spoilage even looks like.

    They should get heaps of training on food safety. When I worked in a servo, dealing with only pies, hotdogs and pastries, I got so much bloody food safety training it was ridiculous!

    Of course, that will probably depend on the franschisee etc
