The second cover is a nice tribute to G1 #186 Also, check out panel 2 on page 1 - it's Scrounge! Of course, he's dead by the next panel, making him an even greater "hi then die" character than his G1 counterpart!

There's also a G1 cartoon Soundwave's-Cybertron-mode streetlight. They like their Easter eggs. And the landscape-style page layout for the issue seems to work.

I like that they actually show Metroplex in the long shot, although he's more symmetrical than his usual appearance and fairly cunningly integrated into the surrounding city.
