Feel free to jump blindly first, but measure what you have to say and keep in mind
1.) the past quality of information of your source.
    2.) the context

    Here:
1.) Hasbro AU has consistently shown it is unreliable. I appreciate the hardwork they do in distribution/sales/marketing but I'm sorry, their information has on too many occassions proven baseless
2.) a.) In the case of Skids - the toyline is going on for at least 12 months. That's a lot of time and I seriously doubt we won't get one in the many waves to come. Figures get re-released as part of multiple waves and revisions of waves. This happened the last movie, it'll happen this time. I seriously, seriously doubt that with 12 months to go, we won't even see a new assortment of Deluxes. We will. The movie's a money spinner and look at what K-Mart did. It recognised the moving power of ROTF and has refused to allow people to use layby to lock in good prices b/c they know ROTF stock will move.
b.) In the case of MP08. Geez, how often do Takara ever release a masterpiece toy? And woudl it even be in the pipeline given you have a whole ROTF line, a massive blockbuster, dominating the shelves for the next 12 months. Silly question in the 1st place. Even in the US, their Hasbro said only that at some point they'd like to. They haven't even confirmed when or if it will happen. So to have a 10 page thread on it when Hasbro's primary market hasn't even got concrete details of anything is pretty silly.

I mean, does anyone honestly think we're not getting any more of ROTF deluxes? I mean, seriously.

All we'd to see is fans and those who want to be messengers issue a higher sense of reasonableness and rationality.
    Curse your voice of reason!!!

Great news people - the two assortments that have Skids and Jolt, WILL BE released here.

Straight from the person in charge at Hasbro:

we plan to take all the mainline Deluxe characters

The assortment with Skids in it is below and should be onshelf end July:

    89099 BUMBLEBEE 2
    89159 SIDESWIPE 2
    89161 BREAKAWAY 1
    91612 AUTOBOT WHEELIE 1
    89884 AUTOBOT SKIDS 1
    91613 CHROMIA 1

The assortment with Jolt and Skids/Mudflap in Ice Cream Truck guise is below and should be onshelf end July also:

    92552 JOLT 2
92558 AUTOBOT SKIDS AND MUDFLAP 2
    92357 BLAZEMASTER 2
    92559 DEAD END 2

At the latest both of these waves should be onshelf by August.
HUGE THANKYOU for the speedy reply to what would have seemed like a bit of a trivial matter (adults getting worked up over kids toys).

I don't want to see any comments about Hasbro Customer Service getting this wrong - enough has been said already.

Thanks for the good news griffin.

I can't believe of all characters they decided to shortpack Skids.

Hopefully we'll get another case revision with more Skids down the track.
