I spoke to one of the guys at George Street and he confirmed the ridiculously small delivery run. It's typical of this sort of limited release sneaker, to be honest.
A 6pm release sucks, mind you. Often the Nike releases are on opening on Saturday mornings - it's not easy lining up for a 6pm thursday release if you have... a life
I'm not planning on grabbing either pair anyway (even though the Bumblebee Zoom Fun Police looks nice), but given the hassle of getting them, I can't say I'd be bothered if I did want them.
To be fair, the manager there (who collects sneakers) is a size 11. So I'd say that's on the level
They usually get more size 10 & 11 than anything else, and often the very small sizes (8, 7.5) and very large sizes (13) are under represented. They rarely get 12.5 or 14+ in these releases at all. Makes sense mind you - sz 10 is the most common men's size in Nike.
