Official ROTF Silver Coins from Perth Mint
My coin collector friend received a news letter from Perth Mint and forwarded it to me. Perth Mint is releasing Optimus Prime and Megatron Silver Coins (99.9% pure silver) for $97.50 each. Each comes with its own display case etc and Perth Mint will issue no more than 5000 of these.

Looking very good. My friend is going to order a pair for himself and a pair for me.

wow, I'm certainly considering....if not for the collecting value but for the small investments value it could have in years.
Thanks for the heads up...get it "heads up"
No need for applause.

It's actual legal tender... but who'd ever use it as money if it is only worth $1, but costs about $100 to buy.

I was telling Paulbot and Borgeman about this last week. A former employer of mine offered them to me at cost price which was about $80. I don't think either look great enough to justify it.

New Family Members: DA-15 Jetwing Prime, DOTM Leader Ironhide, Perfect Effect Reflector, DOTM Shockwave & Skyhammer, eHobby United 3-packs

I agree. It's a huge expense for something so small that doesn't do anything. I'd be interested if they were like $20, but not $100.

$100 seems extreme. I doubt they'd be worth that much more in future even if only 5000 were made.

Oh, I do like these, but at over $120NZ each + postage (even if they would ship direct), I think I can pass. Stamps on the other hand :-)

There were official Hong Kong stamps from Hasbro HK for the first movie.
