Oh, I do like these, but at over $120NZ each + postage (even if they would ship direct), I think I can pass. Stamps on the other hand :-)

There were official Hong Kong stamps from Hasbro HK for the first movie.

I guess you wont be getting them then, as these are silver coins and not gold or gold looking coins

umm... same can be said for people who buy MISB's and AFA TFs that are small and dont really do anything but sit on display, yet people still do it....

Its true that the actual silver content is only worth less than $20 in todays market but it is a limited run collectors edition coin.

i know i will be buying 1 of each. Cos aside from an investment POV, they look cool and display well IMO.

True especially when you think about some of those rare headmasters, cassettes and mini-cons!

I guess it is each to their own. Having a look at the packaging though, it does look very nice.

I noticed this on tfw2005 and they said it was legal tender.
But here's the small print - just because its Perth mint doesn't mean our country I don't think. It's the "Government of Tuvalu", which I've never heard of. I guess it must be in the Commonwealth, but Wikipedia says its a Polynesian island?

I think they look pretty cool but toys are more fun so I'll pass. If they were a present or something I'd think they were awsome
