sorry for the previous doulbe post, I only did it as they said they would not hold the posters/standees long
A thought for the tshirts
does anyone have/have access to a digital direct to garment printer (inkjet printed that prints on tshirts and other stuff so we can try some one off design ideas? at a relatively low cost?
I'm really liking the images of designs put up here.
One more I can think of - remember that scene in TFTM where Devastator is breaking into Autobot City by inserting his fingers in the wall and peeling it back, and the camera shows the inside of the wall as he comes through? That as a screencap could be pretty neat. The original interior could even be optionally removed and replaced with something else for him to tear his way through on his way out of the T-shirt.
I'd like to see ways of expanding the art which could be used, though. While it's entirely possible for us to mix up our own personal take on the Transformers-related images we'd want to see on a T-shirt, and then have that printed onto not-for-profit apparel by any number of companies, I think many of us would really appreciate the chance to order a more obscure, yet still official, tee.
I'm thinking a database of official art and a T-shirt generator site. Making the preapproved, mass produced designs a couple of bucks cheaper than the custom options would skew buyers towards them, while still profitably capturing the demographic who want something other than the usual fare.
There could even be regular updates of the art database as Hasbro approved/released/created more official images. I'm fairly sure, for example, that there's plenty of Transformers:Animated art which would be right at home on clothing.

Ahh, I get you. It's Hasbro's stock licensing artwork, like all of those G1 portraits by Don Figueroa you've been using on your shirts and on other licensed merchandise.
If anybody is wondering what these war propaganda posters look like, they're available as unlockable galleries on the Revenge of the Fallen video game (Xbox 360/PS3/PC).
