Guitar guidance
Hey guys. First off, let me start by saying I GOT A JOB!!!!! Now that that's behind us, I'm in the market for a new axe.
Now, I know what brand and style of guitar I'm after. Gibson, SG. I just don't know what model to go for. I'm leaning towards an Angus Young Signature model ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Elec...-Young-SG.aspx ), But that's about $5000 AU, and I don't have a problem paying that, I mean... It's Angus.
But there are the cheaper alternatives, like the Gibson SG special ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Elec...ial-Faded.aspx ) and the SG sanded ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Elec...-Standard.aspx ) But unlike the Angus model, and my current guitar the Epiphone G-400 SG ( http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Elec...one/G-400.aspx ) The special doesn't have the covered pickups or the hex inlays in the fret board. And the standard is really the exact same guitar as the one I already own, just $400 more expensive, but with the exception of being lighter, but not my much and the Gibson name inlay-ed into the headstock.
