Default G2 Defensor 'limbs' on ebay.

The person who won the four small Gen2 Protectobots about 4 years ago for just over US$11,000 (individually), has gotten them AFA cased and graded, and has now listed them on ebay for US$15,000 (as a set). If someone does actually win it at that minimum bid, he at least managed to make a decent profit from these rare, unreleased toys.

This is at least the second time the seller has listed these for sale. Any interested parties should negotiate an off the bay sale for less.

Even thou they are the only AFA graded ones in existance, I really dont think its worth the money.

Particularly not in my case, since I'd just break open the AFA packaging, open up the Hasbro packaging and play with the toys.

Wow $11,000 each you say? $15,000 for all four... that'd be a "bargain" then wouldn't it? I've seen one of the g2 stunticons mosc ungraded auction for $6000US, but to pay $ $44,000 for all four protectobots? He/she must be loaded

As for the AFA grading - Would it be worth taking this extra step for something like these?

No, Griffin means that when the seller originally won them, each Protectobot was sold in an individual lot, and that the total price for the four came to about $11,000.

You would have to a bigger TF fan than I am to part with that sort of money, no matter how rare.

Anyone recall what the G2 Stunticons sold for ? Was it this sort of money as well ?

Looks like they're getting too greedy in their speculation. The seller should be holding onto them for another 10 years.
