Blackout looks too much like Movie Blackout, which makes it look 'lazy' from a design perspective.
His alt-mode being a copter doesn't bother me. Color-wise maybe, but not so.

Agreed. But it is the Lugnut syndrome all over again. The character's bulk has to come from somewhere...
And not to mention, his transformation is much like animated Lugnut!
Hope he doesn't have that other lugnut syndrome.
