Here's a link to Heroic Decepticon's blog, particularly his toy shop locator guide for Japan, Singapore and HK. Hope it helps you, as this is the guide used by almost all the people here who went to Japan... there may have been some newer shops now coz this was last year's but IM sure it's all still there.

comes with some maps too so it is a very useful guide.

The only one in that area I know is Mandarake.

Too bad your not in Osaka or Akihabara.

I live in Osaka (so I won't be much help with Tokyo or Nagoya, sorry) and use HDs maps. They're pretty good.

Just messaged a contact in Nagoya... see what he says. I've personally never been to Nagoya, but it's not too far from Osaka - we had two people from Nagoya bullet train it to Osaka for the fan meet there earlier this year. If you go to Osaka and you can speak Japanese, you can haggle with staff at Hero Gangu (which is a rarity in Japan -- you can't haggle at other places).

Otherwise you can go to any regular toy departments or toy stores (e.g. TRU) etc. to check for current stuff like Masterpieces.

Great info guys, thank you so much. I was just in Osaka but it was overnighting only. Won't have time to get back there :-(
