It's definitely a counterfeit. If he says otherwise, than he's probably been a victim himself, thinking he bought an original, without knowing it was a fake... or now later found out it was a fake and is now trying to get rid of it by claiming it is a genuine original.

i'd say that is exactly what happened. he did mention that it was bought as vintage..
I used to put ebay scammers in 2 groups. scum that sell fakes with the intention of fooling people and ignorant sellers that don't know the difference , but this guy is in denial.

Is it re-issue or a KO. i didn't know there was a re-ish in a g1 style box. there was commemorative but i thought that was it, and it's stamped on the box.,.

he has a blitzwing too that, i would say, is in the same boat
