That's because a fort max head is like, rare... A worn springer weapon aint. If he is valuing stuff based on size and the price one small (super rare) item goes for, I'd hate to see what he prices the actual figures at. A complete springer WITH gun AND sword wouldn't go for more than $100. At that price, he'd be charging $100 for just the two accessories, and who-knows-what for the actual figure...

This is only the 2nd springer gun I've seen for individual sale in a year. $55 is just stupid, but I think $5 is a tad low considering this item is a scarce find. Maybe around $9AU?

I say smart, how rare is a Springer gun ? If someone really wants it, they will buy it. Problem is people always want to get something for nothing, I deal with this seller alot and I believe his prices are fair, as must alot of other people if you search through his feeback and see all the happy customers.

But Springer guns are no more rare than any other G1 guns - he was released in 1986 and '87, as a Classic in '91 and as a Chinese reissue between '89 and '92. There is no way a C8 Springer gun with chrome wear is worth anywhere near that much. I've sold an entire Springer in near-mint condition with gun and sword for less than $55 before. If I were just selling the gun I'd sell it for $5 or less. $55 is insane.

I wish I could have grabbed the springer you sold for less than $55, as getting a complete one ended up costing alot more. Also I do believe Springer parts are alot harder to find than most, I mean can anyone even find a link to another on ebay ?

It's a terrible state of affairs. This is one of the reasons why I no longer buy G1 toys.
