    What an idiot!
Surely he knows he is paying fees on the postage... or is he doing this to bypass customs for countries like the UK where they can only bring in items with a value up to 36 pounds before they get taxed...
Any way you look at it - it sure seems dodgy to me!

I'm happy to go get the items from him and ship at actual rates if anyone wants to be cheeky and msg him to see if he'll allow free local pickup.

That Sega Megatron would be tempting for US$10 if it didn't have a US$110 shipping LOCALLY TO HONG KONG! For that price I could get a container of Megatrons hauled across the city.
That would be interesting... but I think they'd just say that they don't do pickups.

    What are the photocopies from?
Were they from a special source/person, or were they freely distributed at the time you got them?

I think they are fascinating... so I might take a punt at minimum bid (or more if they are hard to find), and on the off-chance that I win it, I might be able to pick up next Wednesday evening or Thursday morning... depending on the hours you are in the CBD. (like, work hours)

I got them on Yahoo Japan and they were described as transformers production material junk - well that's what google translate was telling me! There is 77 pages all up, about half have actual transformers on them, the rest is humans like "Karen Fishook" and various backgrounds. On some pages the fax header can be seen - marvel productions, September 1985.

Okay then... I hope I win it, but I think there might be a lot of interest for it.

Custom Grotusque from RID Grimlock. A pair of tiny wings and maybe a new animal head sculpt - Hasbro can easily make this happen.

Ahhhh, my max bid was $50 for Beet. Missed out on an awesome figure! Hope he went to an Aussie and stayed in Australia.

Someone really wanted those photocopies... with about 20 minutes to go, they kept bidding, $40, $60, $80, $100, in just half a minute... until they finally won it.
